I don't know what you think about sectional sofas, but I know in the past, my first thought was of a LazyBoy that had recliners on the end and had cup holder arm-rests.  Nothing against those, but when designing my space, function is important, but so is aesthetic.   I never thought I'd be a fan of a sectional sofa until I actually owned one.  Now I love them!
