I love to think of the hardware and knobs/pulls/handles on our furniture and cabinets as if they are jewelry for our furnishings. Those are the little details and extras that you can play with and have fun with and give a piece a whole new look by simply just changing those little details. Depending on the space you’re working with, this can really enhance the overall look you’re going for just with changing those simple things.

While most of the time I like to keep things kinda simple and classic, I decided to play around with this a bit and get something different for my family room cabinets that I recently had redone, along with my bar. I ordered these coral knobs from Furbish Studio, and they weren’t as gold as I thought they would be but I still loved the style. So I got a little crafty and played around with a few nail polishes (isn’t that crazy!) to get the color I wanted. I don’t have a whole lot of knobs and pulls in that room, so these made a fun statement without having tons of these coral branches everywhere.
For my bar, I kept it simple, yet still different. I ordered glass and brass knobs I thought would stand out against the new black painted woodwork.
I’ve “pulled” a few ideas for you from Anthropologie. What’s fun about this, if I decide to change out my coral for any of these, it’s so easy do to and a small way to make a big difference.
