Since today IS hump day, and if you’re feeling kinda in a slump, AND if you’re a cocktails kinda person, then this might get you out of your hump-day-slump.
Truth being said, I’m not much of a drinker, even though a few drinks make me feel good especially in good company. But in all honesty, I really don’t like the way my body reacts to them for the most part. I usually swell up and retain water or get headaches. No fun. And, I learned long ago from my Weight Watchers coaching days that I would rather EAT my calories versus DRINK em. But…. if there’s a YUMMY concoction to try, I wouldn’t mind it one bit! {wink!}
Which takes me to todays libation…
Super easy, and I don’t give exact measurements, even though it did have a recipe…. I still threw it together, because that’s how I roll, right?
Cocktails: Raspberry Spritzer Crush
- 3 containers fresh raspberries
- agave nectar
- fresh lemon
- vodka
- ginger ale
Wash your raspberries, and muddle them with the back of a spoon.
Spoon some of the raspberries into the bottom of each glass. Pour a bit of agave nectar on top of the berries. Then squirt a bit of lemon juice on top. Splash some vodka on top of that. Then top with ginger ale. I used the 10 calorie ginger ale to save a few calories. Finally, I topped it off with a few more berries…
And it was OH SOOOOOO good!
By the way… these cocktails were just a little fun pre-lunch beverage for a few girls and myself. An amazing cooking class with a personal chef followed, which I can’t WAIT to share….. Upcoming post coming SOON!
