“Mom, OMG this is the BEST cake I think I’ve EVER had… like EVERRRR in my LIFE!” were the words from one 12 year old girl in my house today.
You guys know I host a women’s luncheon on a monthly basis and it’s my chance to play hostess and serve up a yummy meal (that is not geared to appeal to little ones!). So I get to play with my creativity in the kitchen. That is how I was taught by my mom. So I follow recipes SOMETIMES and when I don’t follow it precisely, I play with it and make it my own. Hence this cake.
Get ready to send your taste buds into euphoria!
THIS according to the box instructions…
+ Recees Peanut butter chips (pour some batter in the bundt bowl, then the chips, then the remainder of the batter)
Then frost with THIS….
and finally sprinkle a bit of this GOLD DUST! {looked gold in the store, not so gold on top of the cake… thought the shimmer would be beautiful against the brown, but instead it looked like coconut or nut shavings 🙁 }
You can see… it didn’t take long for it to get torn into… and honestly…. I think this picture shows it’s moist and gooeyness.
Fat free? Zero points? ummmmm…. not on today’s post! Pleasure for your tastebuds? YES YES YES!
