So… I’m one that needs a serious kick in the a** to complete a project. I get the stuff, have the best intentions, and then find all the reasons in the world to delay. How many of you relate? Can I see a show of hands please? So ya, two Novembers ago I got marble glass mosaic tile to redo my bathroom. I was keeping my existing travertine that I absolutely love on my counters and tub deck. Well, it was going to be a project that I needed to be there like every day for like 3 weeks straight, so I kept putting it of because of my schedule. And put it off, and put it off, and then out of the blue, my tile guy, who was like part of the family to me whom I knew forever passed away. So I haven’t brought myself to get to the project because of the guilt of not having Jay be the one to do it. He did all of my tile work. No one else touched it but him. Until now. I know I need to move forward and let it go and not feel the guilt I felt with putting off the project because of my silly schedule. I need to let it go and move on. So…. all that heaviness aside, I’m getting that inspiration back and thought I’d share some bathrooms I found pretty beautiful and my style.
Are you seeing a pattern of what I like? (wink!) I’ll say this that I recently noticed in my home. I think everything flows together. Even though this is my master, it still all flows with the colors and feel of the rest of my home. So consider that for yourself when redoing spaces. Color schemes you’re selecting, patterns, textures. Does it reflect you and what you love? Does it all flow nicely together? It doesn’t have to if you don’t want it to, but I think mine does. Just a thought.
If you do like my style and looks I’ve pulled together, I’ll soon be sharing the goods on making this happen. Stay tuned!
Now… getting over my guilt of not ever nailing down a date for Jay to do this, and I’ll know he’s with us in spirit guiding our new tile guy along the way. I’ll keep you posted of my progress!

Of course I realized now that I didn’T post a picture! ugh! LOL!…. and that’s happened a few times as I’ve also begun some home reorganization projects, too! I’ll snap a pic and post it before we begin this little undertaking :).
