Christina Applegate redid her kitchen not too long ago when she had to tear up her floors. It’s certainly understandable that a task like this isn’t one that I’d look forward to, knowing what a mess it can be to have an undertaking like this with the mess of the floors, one of the most used rooms in the house. But she enlisted the help of Laurel & Wolf designer Jessica Today and it was a breeze. Here’s how it turned out.

It’s sleek, it’s fresh, it’s functional, it’s updated, and I think it’s awesome. What I love most about this is that if she didn’t have to tear up her floors, she might have not redone her kitchen. It’s a great thing when we have to do something out of necessity, whether we want to or not, and the end result is something way better than what we expected or started with.
