Speaking from the heart today. In case you’ve wondered where I’ve been, I got the news just before Thanksgiving that my sweet daddy had colon cancer. Although we did find out we caught it in time just this weekend, we’re still not out of the woods, as he could be dealing with possible pneumonia. Needless to say, whatever the illness, it feels like crisis mode to me, because I’m an only child (I’m sure you could NEVER see my invisible crown, right??? lol!) and I’m a daddy’s girl.
So for me, that’s my crisis, and it’s the perfect storm. I have amazing blessings going on with my daughter’s company, we’re preparing for Atlanta market which is just one month away, my blog is growing and thriving, and I’m working on a new project for ALL of you to help you live a life On Purpose. And yet, it’s paralyzing when you have the stress and anxiety of the personal stuff going on. Agree? Can I focus on anything else? Not really.
But that’s ok. If my brain isn’t there, my brain isn’t there. So in case you’ve wondered why I’ve skipped blogging a few days, that’s why. We’ve all been there, right? It’s ok. It’s only for a “season”, because as my dad always said, “this, too, shall pass.”
So, whether you’re dealing with illness, divorce, loss of a job, whatever the big stress and sadness you have going on, I’m sharing my 4 things on what to do when life throws you a curve ball.
It’s real. It’s raw. I’m open and honest and put myself out there. I laugh and I cry. Like I said, it’s real.
So watch my video below, a recorded periscope video of me sharing my 4 steps to getting through those tough times, because we’ve all had them, and chances are, we probably will have more in the future.

This is one of my favorite scopes. Simply because YOU ARE NEVER AFRAID TO LIVE LIFE OUT LOUD IN GREAT TIMES AND CHALLENGING TIMES. THE TRANSPARENCY IS REFRESHINGLY BEAUTIFUL.
