Sometimes the drinks we just pour and go are just what we need, especially if we’re in a pinch, unexpected company comes over, or just don’t want to mess with the fuss.
That’s where cocktails like Skinnygirl drinks are the best! They’re super low calorie, they’re yum, and they’re perfect on their own or mixed with other things. And the low calorie part is always the best because seriously, I don’t want to waste all my calories on my drinks. I’d rather EAT them than DRINK them.
So today I whipped up a Skinnygirl Sangria Cocktail with just some fruit I had in the refrigerator and freezer and the drink itself.
Skinnygirl Sangria Cocktail
- Skinnygirl Sangria
- Frozen mixed berries
- Sliced apples
Pour the fruit into a decanter with the Sangria and let set for an hour in the refrigerator, or serve immediately. Add ice if desired.
I always keep frozen berries in my freezer for smoothies and protein shakes and adding to water. And apples are something that I always keep on hand as well. So the only thing left to buy to keep on hand is a bottle of Skinnygirl Sangria. It’s great alone, but throw in these fruit in some cute glasses and you’re good to go. It’s definitely a refreshing drink great for warmer days… but I’ll take any day!
