If you haven’t figured out from my social media, I’ve made an escape! HA! I’ve fled the country for a little bit of brain detox, family time and time to unplug and recharge.
Where are we? Back to one of our favorites. The Ritz Carlton Grand Cayman. We do lots of nothing while enjoying lots of great food and amazing cocktails. So I thought we’d hear from Godfrey how they make their signature drink, their Pina Colada.
You’re thinking WHERE’S THE RUM? Well, it’s added AFTER the base of the cocktail is made because they have lots of younger guests who want to enjoy the same drink, obviously without the alcohol. So it’s then added after in the glass, hence the caramel colored swirl in the drink.
And there you go!
I wanted to take a picture of it with the swirls, but it was too good to resist. Sorry! 🙂
