Happy healthy Monday friends! Did we survive the Thanksgiving
pig-out family feast? Did anyone have to roll you out? I hope not!!! But, if that WAS the case, that’s ok!!! Because I have a secret to share with you… Another one of my favorite tips on weight loss and maintaining goal weight.
What is 90/10?
This is something I’ve figured out on my own and by observing others who are
skinny biatches at a healthy goal weight.
A simple rule that I live by (or TRY to live by… although certain times of the month seems to be WAY over 10% of the time, just sayin!) that really seems to make sense with LIFE. I mean, we all have celebrations, birthdays, vacations, and this weekend we, as Americans, had a holiday that literally REVOLVES around a FEAST. A feast that, according to the Calorie Control Council, clocks in at around 4,500 calories per setting. Holy COW! And if you’re one who tries to stick with 1,200 – 1,800 per day, well, you can do the math! YIKES!
So life has all sorts of events we have to deal with, now being immersed in the holiday season, how to deal? Get BACK on TRACK being Monday, and live daily 90% of the time making smart choices. So that when those 10% events, meals, occasions DO occur, it’s not going to just add to your consistency of bad habits. It means you can ENJOY YOURSELF instead of stress about it, because you know that MOST of the time, you make smart choices! And, if you DO make smart choices most of the time, chances are, you won’t like how you feel if you OVER indulge on those holidays, meaning, you probably won’t do that again anytime soon. Enjoy your splurge and know that it’s just a mini HICCUP in the big picture of all of your eating habits. Make sense?
